The house is set in 3 acres of gardens close to Lake Manapouri with magnificent views of the lake and mountains beyond. There are four spacious en-suite rooms with views to the lake, mountains or garden. We personally greet our guests and provide a complimentary welcome refreshment on arrival. We serve a delicious and substantial breakfast in the dining room at a time to suit guests. Breakfast items are sourced locally where possible including local free range eggs and our own homemade preserves. Guests really enjoy meeting other guests from around the world with lively conversations at the breakfast table. We can accommodate a maximum of eight guests and exclusive use of the house is available. Please contact us directly if you are interested in this option. We are happy to help with any advice and bookings for activities in the area and if guests are taking the overnight Doubtful Sound cruise, they are welcome to leave their car at our property. Manapouri has amenities including a bistro/pub, small shop & café and gas station. Manapouri is also home to the famous Bookshop at the End of the World, Kepler Mountain View Alpaca Farm and Wild Wool Gallery and Time Traders, a treasure trove of second-hand goods –plenty to see and do! As we are a small boutique accommodation provider cancellations can affect us greatly and we therefore have a strict cancellation policy. Please read this carefully.
A 10% deposit will be payable at the time of booking.
Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to check-in day incurs a charge of the full amount of the booking - this will be charged at the time of cancellation. There is no charge for cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival.
No shows incurs a charge of the full amount of the booking.
